Bears Hold onto Losses as Wheat Takes No Prisoners -
The wheat complex was down across all three exchanges to close out the Thursday session. CBT soft red wheat futures was down 1 to 2 ½ cents on the Cotton Posts Mixed Action on Thursday -Cotton futures closed the Thursday trade with front months down 4 points and other contracts up 5 points. The outside markets were pressure factors Hogs Pop Back Higher on Thursday -Lean hog futures saw a bounce back on the Thursday close, with contracts up 17 cents to $1.20. USDA’s national base hog report from Thursday PM Cattle Fall Lower on Thursday -Live cattle futures posted $1.37 to $1.75 losses across the nearbys on the Thursday session. Cash activity has started to pick up this week, with Soybeans Claw Back from Early Loses -Soybeans were weaker early on during the Thursday session, but contract came back to close with 1 to 2 cent gains in the nearbys. September was an Corn Bulls Rally Back to Close Higher -Corn futures saw some buying off early lows on Thursday, as contracts closed with 1 to 2 cent gains across the front months.
